This truly tastes like rich, dairy chocolate sauce. It’s low-glycemic so it’s a perfect substitute for other sauces. It’s easy to make and it goes well with ice cream, waffles, pancakes, pie, cake etc. It tastes totally different warm, so warm it up before serving.
1 Cup Warmed Coconut Milk (Canned, Full-fat, Organic)
1/2 Cup Cacao Powder
3/4 Cup Pitted Dates (about 12)
1 Tsp Coconut Oil Melted
1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 Tsp Salt
If needed you may add 1 Tsp or more raw honey or maple syrup to make it sweeter depending on your taste.
Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or warm before serving.
Against the Grain.
