Raw Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped almonds
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup old fashion oat meal
  • 1/2 cup agave, brown rice syrup, maple syrup, or honey
  • 1/4 cup filtered water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  • Put the almonds and walnuts in a food processor and chop until fine, or slightly chunky if you choose.
  • In a medium bowl, combine nuts, oats, spices, and salt (raisins if you like).
  • Add agave (or sweetener of your choice), water and stir.
  • Scoop into small balls and place on the mesh rack for your dehydrator. Dehydrate at 105 for four hours.
