Best Kale Chips Ever!

Course: Appetizer, Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 5 Bunches of kale (washed and stemmed)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 2 cups cashews (or one 9 oz jar Viva Pura raw cashew butter)
  • 1 cup lemon juice (you can squeeze your own, but I usually buy Santa Cruz lemon juice)
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

Instructions

  • Wash and stem kale.
  • Massage salt and olive oil in washed kale.
  • Put all the remaining ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Feel free to add more olive oil if it’s too thick to keep moving and blending.
  • Massage kale with the mixture.
  • Divide among your dehydrator tray and dehydrate for 2 hours at 145. Then turn it down to 115 for another 9 to 10 hours. It could be more hours if it’s humid.
