Elizabeth’s Kind Cafe Interview with SASHA Sanctuary

On this weeks ‘Elizabeth’s Kind Cafe’, I was fortunate enough to meet with Amanda Hitt, Operations Manager, from SASHA Farm Animal Sanctuary.

SASHA is the largest farm animal sanctuary in the Midwest. It is home to cows, chickens, turkeys, pigs, goats, horses, sheep cats, dogs and more!

They are a big operation, and they are always in need money and volunteers to help out. After watching the show, please check out their website to learn more about the sanctuary and read the amazing stories about it’s residents!

Stick around to see the end of the show where I show you how to make some pretty delicious potato soup.

Elizabeth’s Kind Cafe can be seen on Comcast cable channel 15 for residents of Bloomfield Township and Bloomfield Hills. Under a contractual agreement with the Birmingham Area Cable Board (BACB), it provides Municipal Access and Government Access programming for Birmingham, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms and Franklin.  The BACB’s channels are 18 and 15 on Comcast, respectively and 99 on AT&T’s Uverse.

Thank you for featuring and spreading the word about SASHA Farm. I have been volunteering there for almost 6 years, and I feel it is the greatest place on earth with some of the most selfless and compassionate people on earth. Thank you for supporting the animals!
